Update: the iPhone 3Gs isn't being released until 6/19? Damn!
But I lied. There is some nervousness that I have about this trip. There is that long, lonely highway called I-80 that stretches from Wyoming to Chicago. That will be a two day drive with nothing really but hundreds of miles of road and farms. Its during that stretch where all the 'what if' question will start to plague my mind. 'What if I get a flat tire? What if I fall asleep? What if I get run off the road by a trucker? What if...'
Maybe I should be going counter-clockwise on my trip so I could get this part of the drive out of the way instead of it being the obstacle on my way home. But plans have been made and friends' couches have been reserved.
So tomorrow, after the tire pressure has been checked, gas tank filled and iPod plugged in, I set out for over 2 weeks of 'what if'.
